Apply at UKCIL.com. Reference: 5b5cea3a

We are looking for a commitment female support worker to provide support to a 15-year-old young girl in the Stocksfield.

The young girl has a diagnosis of four limb cerebral palsy, is wheelchair bound and requires support in all of her daily living tasks. She lives at home with her family and the support is to promote her independence and allow her family to have a brief rest.

The main tasks would involve bathing her three evenings per week, providing medication and putting her to bed. The client does require full support with personal care including incontinence.

Full training will be provided for all healthcare tasks including PEG feeding and epilepsy awareness.

She is an energetic young lady who enjoys being out and about, going for walks, visiting the cinema, visiting the sensory room and engaging in other appropriate activities. Somebody who enjoys swimming, being on the trampoline, listening to music and is willing to engage with the interest of the young child is essential.

The young woman does dislike getting changed so an individual with a calm nature, willing to negotiate and distract from any dislikes would be desirable.

A car driver is essential due to the rural nature of the client's location. The applicant will also be required to drive a Motability wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Further details are available at the interview.

Rate of Pay: £13.09 per hour

Hours Breakdown:

· Evenings hours to be between 6pm and 8pm
· Various hours to be discussed at interview
· The support is predominantly in the evenings per week
