Shift: The company works a four-day, 37-hour week from Monday to Thursday working 9 ¼ hours each day between 07:00-16:45. Nightshift 21:30 7:15.
Salary: Days £15.50ph Nights £20ph overtime on a Friday x 1.5
Our Client are an international business supplying technically advanced machinery, spare parts, tooling and technical support services across three business sectors. With a new management team in place and as an ambitious, growing company, it is currently seeking to strengthen its skilled team to meet future commitments and targets. As an engineering technology business, the company has invested extensively in its engineering systems utilising state of the art 3D CAD systems for its design processes and CNC machine tools for manufacturing.
Job description
The role of CNC Programmer, setter operator will include the following duties:
⦁ Programming, Setting & Operating Turning machines, using Haas Controls
⦁ Machining one offs.
⦁ Be able to use basic inspection equipment.
The ideal candidate will:
⦁ Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Turning Machines with Hass controls.
⦁ Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
⦁ Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
⦁ Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
⦁ Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
⦁ Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
⦁ Professional and self-motivated attitude.
⦁ Good organisational & time management skills.
