Summary

Are you an experienced Support Worker who would like to work for a values led organisation?

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker with good initiative and great communication skills to join our busy and friendly team in Lancaster.

You will support Clients to achieve the outcomes laid out in their Care/Support Plan and also ensure that the security of the project and its surroundings is maintained. Your professional and flexible nature will allow you to positively impact on those who you support and the rest of the team around you, allowing you to flourish and develop in this diverse and rewarding role.

We have a great opportunity available for a Support Worker based in Lancaster on a permanent basis, working 40 hours per week.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £24,770 per annum as well as other generous benefits which include:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Key work and support clients generally within your project
  • Provide personal care to identified clients
  • Take an active role in the assessment and management of risk
  • Maintain a clear and calm manner whilst managing client risk
  • Ensure that all medication within the project is managed in line with Trust policy and procedures
  • Manage client meetings and facilitate the Client Inclusion and Training representatives
  • Assist in the management of the referral process within the project to achieve agreed occupancy levels
  • Apply Emergency First Aid response to clients and any other person in the building/grounds

Our service in Lancaster is a Registered Care home with an experienced team who are able to care for and transform the lives of clients with a range of needs and interests. You would be supported by the management team at the project and have an appropriate induction so you can feel confident in adjusting to a new role, which will include shadowing staff.
