Summary

Salary: £16 - £17ph DOE
Overtime: 1.3
Schedule: Hours of opening 7.00am 4.30pm Monday Thursday and 7.00am 12.30pm on Fridays.
Flexy/ core hours staff can clock on between 7.00-8.00am and clock out anytime between 3.30-4.30pm.
Based in Halifax, our client is a precision engineering specialist, Covering a wide range of industries such as oil & gas, Aerospace, Defence & Automation.
Job description
The role of CNC Programmer, setter operator will include the following duties:
⦁ Programming, Setting & Operating Hurco VMX CNC Milling machine with Ultimax controls conversational.
⦁ Be able to use basic inspection equipment.
The ideal candidate will:
⦁ Have a proven experience programming, setting & Operating VMX Milling machines with Ultimax controls.
⦁ Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
⦁ Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
⦁ Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
⦁ Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
⦁ Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
⦁ Professional and self-motivated attitude.
⦁ Good organisational & time management skills.

⦁ Overtime available at a time and a third once 39 hours have been completed.
