This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and safety-conscious driver to showcase their expertise while earning a competitive pay rate of £14.00 per hour.Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations in and around Nottingham.- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods as per customer requirements.- Adhere to all relevant driving laws, regulations, and company policies.- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues promptly.- Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays during transportation.- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and customers to coordinate logistics and resolve any delivery-related issues.- Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.Qualifications:- Valid HGV Class 2 license and relevant CPC qualifications are essential.- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a HGV Class 2 driver.- Good knowledge of Nottingham and the surrounding areas, including the ability to efficiently plan routes.- Sound understanding of driving laws and regulations, with a strong commitment to safety.- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet delivery deadlines.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with the team and customers.- Ability to lift and carry heavy goods, as required.How to Apply:If you are a skilled and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver seeking temporary work in Nottingham, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk.
