Located close to Longford, just off the Bath Road, Thistle Heathrow is an Airport hotel which delivers a warm welcome no matter how long or short the stay. It has 264 bedrooms and 14 meeting rooms, the largest one seating up to 700 people - meaning it is also an extremely popular local wedding venue. It is the only hotel that has direct access to Heathrow Terminal 5 by POD in just 5 minutes.
The Role
Are you an experienced sales professional looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Are you creative, target driven, passionate about what you do and always strive to be a leader in your field? If so, we have the perfect role for you! Your role will include managing and developing sales throughout the Hotel and conference venue as well as maximising the potential of our hotels. As Sales Manager you will be fully accountable for developing and growing all market segments, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally, will ideally have experience within a similar environment and will have a track record of winning business over competitors.
What we look for
* Strong local knowledge of the Heathrow Hotel Market
* Must be able to drive and have access to a car
* Sales experience in Hotels in either proactive or reactive sales ideally in the Heathrow market
* Knowledge of corporate, groups and events sales segments
