This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the driving industry, providing valuable services to our client's operations.Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all road rules and regulations- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle's roadworthiness- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securement and minimizing damage during transportation- Maintain accurate delivery records, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly and promptly- Communicate effectively with the transport team, providing updates on delivery progress and any issues encountered- Uphold excellent customer service, demonstrating a professional attitude at all times- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others- Flexibility to work various shift patterns, including weekends and early starts when requiredQualifications and Skills:- Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license is mandatory- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Class 1 Driver, preferably within a similar role- Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification are essential- Demonstrated ability to operate vehicles safely in different weather and traffic conditions- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients- Excellent time management and organizational skills, ensuring on-time deliveries- Knowledge and adherence to UK driving regulations and road traffic laws- Physically fit, able to perform manual handling tasks when necessaryPay Rate: £14.00 - £16.00 per hourTo apply for this exciting opportunity, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk and fill out the online application form.
