Your New Role
As the Logistics Coordinator, you will need to work independently and maximise efficiency when it comes to your daily workload. You will create sales lists for different products to form new orders and then distribute those. The Logistics Coordinator will provide the warehouses with in-depth packaging instructions for differing customer preferences and produce import/export documents. You will use client data to create documents with a broader application and submit sales invoices in differing currencies. In this position, you will assist the General Manager with the management of global logistics partners and the movement of goods worldwide. You will then produce the end of month government reporting for the UK and EU shipping. In this position, you will need to be on site 5 days a week at their SW office.
What You Need to Succeed
The Logistics Coordinator will need excellent attention to detail and accuracy when it comes to the work you produce. An excellent knowledge of Excel ie: vlookup, formulas and processing, is key to this position. There will be a proficiency test on this as a part of the interview process, so you will need to be WINDOWS and IT proficient. Previous experience within Logistics/ Distribution or Supply Chain would be desirable, along with Accounting and Finance - however, it is not essential. To succeed as the Logistics Coordinator, you are expected to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to have a positive impact on the smooth running of the office with a proactive mindset.
What You Get in Return
You will be entitled to a salary of up to £32,000 p/a and receive 25 days holiday + bank holidays annually. You will be a part of a busy and energetic work environment that encourages individuality.
