Transport goods: Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport goods throughout the designated area, adhering to all relevant traffic regulations and safety standards.2. Vehicle inspections: Conduct thorough pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and identify any faults or defects that may require attention.3. Vehicle maintenance: Report any vehicle defects or damages promptly to the relevant individuals, and ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained in accordance with company guidelines.Qualifications and Experience:1. HGV Class 1 License: Valid and up-to-date HGV Class 1 license is essential, with no more than 6 penalty points.2. CPC: Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is required.3. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, preferably within a similar role or industry.4. Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients and colleagues.5. Time management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules and deadlines.6.
