Job Type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 28 hours per week, working three days on rota basis, including every other weekend. The hours of work are between 08:00 – 15:00.
Under 22 years - £10.42 per hour (weekdays), £11.42 per hour (weekends), and £12.42 (overtime).
Over 23 years - £10.92 per hour (weekdays), £11.92 per hour (weekends), and £12.92 per hour (overtime).
Role
As a Host, you will be responsible for preparing and clearing the dining room at mealtimes, serving meals and beverages to their residents in the dining room, in other communal areas and their rooms. You will liaise with the Chef on resident's meal choices and be aware of their nutritional and special dietary needs.
About You
Whilst it is not necessary to have previous care experience, you must be able to demonstrate that you have a genuine interest in working with older people. You will need to have the ability to understand the needs of the residents, be compassionate and work well as part of a team.
