If you possess the necessary qualifications and believe you have what it takes, we encourage you to apply right away!Responsibilities:- Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle, adhering to all road safety guidelines and company policies- Transport goods from our client's premises to various locations as requested, ensuring timely and efficient delivery- Carry out daily vehicle checks, inspecting for any faults or damage, and promptly report any issues- Efficiently load and unload goods with care, paying attention to the specific instructions provided- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring smooth and professional interaction with clients upon delivery and collection- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly, including delivery notes and logbooks- Follow pre-determined routes or adapt to changing road conditions to reach destinations safely and efficiently- Maintain an organized and clean vehicle, ensuring that it is safe and presentable at all times- Adhere to all legal requirements related to vehicle operations, including tacho graph rules and working time directivesQualifications:- Hold a valid UK driving license with Category C1 entitlement- Possess an up-to-date Driver Qualification Card (DQC) or Driver CPC card- Demonstrable experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle, preferably within a similar role- Ability to demonstrate excellent driving skills, with a solid understanding of different vehicle distributions- Committed to adhering to vehicle maintenance and safety guidelines- Exceptional time-management skills, ensuring efficient scheduling and delivery- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing requirements or road conditions- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively complete necessary paperworkPay Rate: £13.00 per hourTo apply, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
