We are a family of 5, living in Kingswood. We have 3 boys, a 6-year-old and 2-year-old twins.
Unfortunately, our beautiful twin boys have a severe disability, and we are needing some extra help for them.
We are looking for kind and compassionate PA/PA’s who understand the complexities of a busy household and will subtly fit into our family home.
We have two vacancies available, both on a minimum 6-month contract.
Location: Kingswood- BristolHours: Total of 60 hours shared between 2 PA’s. Please see shifts below.Pay: £11.00 Per Hour.Holiday: 5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time).Start Date: ASAP.Additional InformationAppointment will be subject to a DBS check, funded by the employer.
Personal Qualities & Attributes RequiredResponsible, reliable, and trustworthy.Excellent timekeeping.Some previous PA experience would be advantageous but not essential.Good communication and social skills.To respect confidentiality and privacy.
Daytime P.A duties include:
Making up meds – Full training will be provided.
Giving meds – Full training will be provided.
Bathing
Dressing
Feeding
Staying with the boys during brothers’ swimming lesson
General household jobs
Day Shifts:
Monday 4.30-7.30pm (3 hours)
Wednesday 6.00-8.00pm (2 hours)
Thursday 4.30 - 7.30pm (3 hours)
Overnight (waking) PA - Duties include:
Seeing to the boys overnight
Making up meds – Full training will be provided.
Giving meds – Full training will be provided.
Bathing
Dressing
Feeding
Staying with the boys during school run
General household jobs
Overnight Shifts:
Monday: 10.30pm - 7.30am (9 hours)
Tuesday: 10.30pm-7.30am (9 hours)
Wednesday: 10.30pm - 10am (11.5 hours)
Thursday: 10.30pm - 9.30am (11 hours)
Sunday: 10.30pm - 10am (11.5 hours)
