Job PurposeTo provide family support for mother of two boys Maternity CoverLocation: Dereham, NR19DetailsI am a friendly 31 year old autistic woman who has M.E, Fibromyalgia and joint hypermobility meaning I need a lot of support to keep the household running. Tasks will mainly involve assisting me with keeping my home clean and tidy (washing up, laundry, sweeping, etc), getting my two children (9 & 11 respectively) ready for school (my 9 year old is high needs autistic with limited communication, and a friendly demeanour and consistent firm attitude is helpful!), and driving my 11 year old to his school. My PA will also need to be able to support with picking up groceries, minor food prep, getting to appointments, and running small errands. This position is for maternity cover which is due to start at the beginning of April 2024 and is likely to be for a minimum of 6 months. When my permanent PA returns from her Maternity Leave there is likely to be the opportunity to stay on contract for flexible hours to cover leave/sickness etc.Person specification· Responsible and safety aware· Flexible· Driver/own car with appropriate class of insurance an advantage· Available from April 2024Summary terms and conditions· The rate of pay for this position is £11 per Hour· Hours and times of work: 14 hours weekly. Flexible times to be discussed at interview, weekdays only, no weekend working required.The post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.· Completion of Annual PA training: Health & Safety and GDPR (provided free via Careskills Academy)
