We are looking for a personal assistant to support a young man with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. The role will involve assisting with all aspects of personal care, hoisting, medication administration, PEG management, tracheostomy management and monitoring oxygen levels.
The successful candidate will be able to work well with other members of the team and have a positive happy attitude.
The young man enjoys it when his team sing to him and find other ways to aid his communication.
The family have requested a female carer due to the personal care aspect of the role.
Experience would be desirable but full training will be given.
