This is a temporary position within the industrial industry, offering competitive hourly pay rates, and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:1. Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking.2. Safely operate a range of warehouse machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, and packing equipment.3. Organize and maintain inventory by carefully labelling, packing, and palletizing products.4. Conduct regular stock checks, ensuring optimum levels are maintained and report any discrepancies found.5. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure all warehouse operations are smooth and efficient.6. Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines, promoting a safe working environment at all times.7. Assist with general warehouse duties such as cleaning, sorting deliveries, and arranging stock shelves as required.Qualifications and Skills:1. Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative or similar role is preferred.2. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.3. Proficient operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and scanning devices, with relevant certification preferred.4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring products are handled and stored correctly.5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.6. Good physical stamina and the ability to frequently lift heavy items.7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.8.
