The Role
The Property Projects Manager (PPM) will join the property team as an integral part of Clermont Hotel Group's (CHG) transformational growth plans. The PPM is responsible for the management and delivery of property-related capital projects across the CHG estate. The PPM manages overall project planning, design, scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
The PPM provides direction, expertise, and support to the Property Director to implement and maintain an estate-wide property capital programme that seeks to create, enhance, and maintain value.
* Management and delivery of capital projects ensuring project objectives and plans are achieved
* Devise, assemble and manage internal and external teams, develop objectives and goals of each project, and assign clear and specific responsibilities through inception and delivery
* Liaison and coordination with all key stakeholders, internal & external
* Creation and refinement of business cases, project planning & budgeting
* Manage and maintain project accounting including budget management and tracking, and minimising exposure to financial risk
* Monitor and report on the progress of project activities on a regular basis
* Ensure understanding and demonstration of the company's core values
* Establish and promote positive and effective working relationships within internal teams and ensure all customers and colleagues are treated with care and consideration
* Ensure understanding and adherence to the company's brand and service standards
* Engage with the continuous process of training and development including your role in the completion of Reviews; one-to-ones and Performance appraisals for yourself
* Complete and comply with all relevant training (including Company policies, Company procedures and policies specific to your place of work)
What we look for
* Experience of cost management and fast-track refurbishments
* Ability to run multiple projects
* Forward-thinker with the ability to introduce and implement new concepts and ideas
* Previous experience within a project management role
* Strong customer focus and outstanding ability to establish professional relationships across the organisation
* Delivery of complex fit out construction projects with contract values between £5m and above
* Experience of working on the client side of a construction contract
* Experience of working on a listed building refurbishment in an urban environment
* MCIOB, RIBA, RICS or equivalent chartered professional qualification
* Relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent within the construction industry i.e. mechanical or electrical within the built environment
