With a strong presence in the industry, our client offers excellent opportunities for growth and development.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all road and traffic laws.- Responsible for the delivery and collection of goods to and from specified locations in a timely manner.- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and record any defects or issues.- Ensure loading and unloading procedures are carried out efficiently, and goods are secured properly.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and delivery records.- Communicate effectively with the transport team and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.- Adhere to company policies and procedures, especially in terms of health and safety regulations.- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous attitude while interacting with clients and colleagues.Qualifications and Skills:- Valid and in-date HGV Class 1 license.- All necessary CPC and Digi Tacho cards.- Previous experience in a similar driving role, preferably within the transportation or logistics sector.- Knowledge and understanding of current road and traffic regulations.- Excellent time management and organizational skills.- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Physical fitness and ability to safely perform loading and unloading tasks.- Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.- Professional and customer-oriented approach.If you are a highly motivated and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver seeking a temporary opportunity in Lutterworth, we invite you to submit your application through our website, workchain.co.uk.
