Please note that this is a temporary position.As a Car/Van Driver, your primary responsibility will be to ensure safe and timely transportation of goods and materials to designated locations. You will be entrusted with the care and maintenance of the vehicle assigned to you while adhering to all road regulations and company policies.Key Responsibilities:- Safely transport goods and materials to specified locations in a timely manner- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries- Load and unload products, ensuring they are securely placed, using appropriate tools as required- Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, reporting any mechanical issues promptly- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logbooks and proof of delivery- Prioritize safety and customer satisfaction by demonstrating professionalism and excellent communication skills- Comply with all relevant traffic and transport laws, regulations, and company policies- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and presentable at all timesQualifications:- Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Car/Van driver or in a similar driving role- A valid and clean driver's license (Category B)- Good knowledge of roads and routes in the Lutterworth area- Excellent time management and organizational skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items safely- A friendly and approachable demeanor with exceptional customer service skills- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentPay Rate: £11.00 - £12.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)To apply, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
