Workchain, a UK-based recruitment agency, is currently recruiting for a permanent position in the Driving industry. If you are reliable, professional, and hold the relevant qualifications, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle to deliver goods to various destinations within Sheffield and surrounding areas- Load and unload goods, ensuring their safe transportation and handling- Plan routes efficiently, taking into consideration traffic and delivery schedules- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery signatures and paperwork- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and delivering goods- Adhere to all relevant legal and company policies regarding health and safety and road traffic regulations- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly- Maintain and organize delivery documents and receipts efficientlyQualifications:- Valid and current 7.5 tonne driving license- CPC card (Certificate of Professional Competence)- Digital Tachograph Card- Proven experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, preferably within a similar industry- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks- Excellent knowledge of Sheffield and surrounding areas- Strong communication and customer service skills- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
