If you have the necessary qualifications and experience in the driving industry, we invite you to apply for this fantastic opportunity.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle, adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.- Transport goods and materials to various destinations, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, maintaining cleanliness, and reporting any issues or damages.- Load and unload goods, adhering to proper handling and safety procedures at all times.- Keep accurate records and complete all necessary paperwork associated with the delivery, including the collection of signatures, timesheets, and delivery notes.- Communicate effectively with the transport team and clients, providing updates on the progress of deliveries, delays, or any issues encountered.- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, representing our client and Workchain in a respectable manner.Qualifications:- Valid UK driving license with Category C (HGV Class 2 entitlement) and no more than 6 penalty points.- A valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).- Digital tachograph card is essential.- Minimum 1-year relevant experience as a HGV Class 2 driver.- Excellent knowledge of Coleshill's roads and surrounding areas.- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.- Good physical fitness, as the role may involve some manual handling.- Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a flexible attitude towards working hours.To apply, please visit our website workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
