Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client's team in Sheffield. If you have a valid HGV Class 2 license and are looking for a rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:- Transporting goods efficiently and safely to designated locations within the Sheffield area.- Ensuring all necessary paperwork, such as delivery notes and logbooks, is completed accurately and on time.- Conducting pre and post vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and reporting any defects or issues promptly.- Adhering to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a solid safety record.- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service during the delivery process.Qualifications Required:- Valid HGV Class 2 license with no more than 6 penalty points.- Previous experience as an HGV Class 2 driver in the driving industry is preferred.- Comprehensive knowledge of Sheffield and its surrounding areas would be advantageous.- Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong teamwork skills when required.- Excellent time management and organizational abilities to meet delivery deadlines effectively.- Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and internal stakeholders professionally.Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour, depending on experience and shift patterns.To apply for this role, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
