This is a temporary position within the driving industry and offers ample scope for professional growth and development.Responsibilities:1. Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to ensure the timely delivery of goods to designated locations within Walsall and surrounding areas.2. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, promptly reporting any concerns to the appropriate parties.3. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations, ensuring a responsible and professional driving approach at all times.4. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks associated with each delivery, including obtaining signatures and confirming accurate product quantities.5. Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a polite and respectful attitude when interacting with clients during deliveries and collections.6. Efficiently load and unload goods in a manner that minimizes damage and optimizes space utilization within the vehicle.7. Maintain good housekeeping practices within the vehicle, ensuring it remains clean and organized.8. Collaborate with the transport team regarding any route or schedule changes to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.Qualifications:1. Valid and current UK driving license with Category C1 entitlement, allowing you to operate vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes.2. Possess a valid Digital Tachograph card and CPC card.3. Previous experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver is highly advantageous.4. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record and thorough knowledge of UK road regulations.5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently follow instructions and procedures accurately.6. Exceptional time management skills, enabling you to meet strict delivery deadlines.7. Excellent customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.8.
