Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to fill temporary Class 1 Driver roles for our esteemed client.Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 vehicle in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies- Complete all deliveries and collections in a timely manner while adhering to route schedules- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all deliveries and collections- Conduct pre- and post-vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects or issues promptly- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times- Maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards customers and clients- Collaborate effectively with the transport team to ensure a smooth and efficient operationQualifications Required:- Valid Class 1 (CE) license- Full CPC qualification- Digital Tachograph card- Knowledge of current driving legislation and transport regulations- A minimum of 1 year's experience driving Class 1 vehicles- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach- Good time-management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines- Strong attention to detail and a responsible attitude towards vehicle safety- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours if requiredJoin our team and take advantage of competitive hourly rates starting from £14.00 with the potential to earn up to £16.00 per hour, based on experience and performance.
