Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently working with one of our prestigious clients to fill a Temporary HGV Class 2 Driver position in the Driving industry.Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operating a Class 2 HGV vehicle to transport goods and materials.- Conducting pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in a safe condition.- Adhering to all relevant legislation and regulations, including tachograph and driver hours.- Loading and unloading goods at designated locations.- Maintaining accurate delivery records and ensuring all paperwork is completed efficiently.Qualifications:- Valid Category C (Class 2) HGV driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.- Proven experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, preferably within the Sheffield area.- Full CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.- Digital tachograph card and good knowledge of relevant legislation.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.Key Requirements:- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights, as required.- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy loads.- Clarity and attention to detail in completing paperwork.- A positive and professional attitude towards customers and colleagues.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Pay Rate: £13.00 to £14.00 per hourTo apply for this rewarding position, visit our website at workchain.co.uk and complete our online application form.
