Summary
Market and promote the Community Dermatology service within contract area, targeting GP refers to ensure appropriate activity levels. Review of business clinical protocols/policies in line with Dermatology guidelines Attend specifically designed reflective learning sessions, schedules and service improvement initiative events Coordinate and conduct GP education events Support on prescribing formulary in line with cost profile and patient requirements Ensuring any pathology specimens are accurately labelled and transported to correct destination for pick up by patient transport to local pathology labs. Review patients healthcare leaflets for condition utilised during the clinics to ensure appropriateness for condition. Undertake triaging of referrals and pathologies into service ensuring correct patient pathway selection. Duties will vary depending on business needs / requirements
