Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.2. Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods to designated locations.3. Conduct thorough vehicle checks and inspections before and after each journey.4. Manage loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are securely and safely transported.5. Maintain accurate delivery records, including keeping log books up-to-date and submitting necessary paperwork.6. Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, delivering a high level of customer service at all times.7. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.8. Report any issues, accidents, or delays promptly to the appropriate authority.Qualifications Required:1. Possess a valid HGV Class 2 license, with relevant CPC qualifications.2. Proven experience as a Class 2 HGV driver, preferably within a similar role.3. Good knowledge of road safety regulations and tachograph regulations.4. A clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points.5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.7. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in paperwork and delivery records.8.
