As a dedicated professional, you will play a fundamental role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.- Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after each journey to ensure optimal working conditions.- Load and unload goods, ensuring their secure transportation.- Plan routes efficiently, taking into account traffic conditions and delivery schedules.- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.- Follow delivery instructions and ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery notes and customer signatures, are completed accurately.- Collaborate with team members and communicate any operational issues or challenges effectively.- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.Qualifications:- Hold a valid UK driving license with Category C1 entitlement, allowing you to drive 7.5-tonne vehicles.- Possess a valid Driver CPC qualification.- A minimum of 2 years' experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.- Excellent knowledge of driving regulations and road safety.- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Remuneration:The successful candidate will receive a competitive pay rate ranging from £12.50 to £13.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.If you have the necessary skills, experience, and pertinent qualifications, we invite you to apply now at Workchain.co.uk.
