Key Responsibilities:1. Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle to transport goods to designated locations within the Lichfield area.2. Load, unload, and secure cargo as per the given instructions to ensure its safe transportation.3. Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure its roadworthiness and report any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.4. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.5. Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and the operations team, providing exceptional customer service at all times.6. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signed proof of delivery sheets, mileage logs, and maintenance records.7. Assist with any additional duties related to the role, as required by the client or the company.Qualifications and Skills:1. Hold a valid category C1 (7.5 tonne) driving license, and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is essential.2. Demonstrable experience as a professional 7.5 Tonne Driver with a clean driving record.3. Excellent knowledge of local road networks in and around Lichfield.4. Strong adherence to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.5. Ability to work proactively and efficiently with minimal supervision.6.
