Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Key Responsibilities:1. Safely and efficiently operating an HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to designated destinations.2. Ensuring adherence to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards throughout the transportation process.3. Loading and unloading cargo, ensuring it is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.4. Planning and organizing delivery schedules to meet strict deadlines and customer requirements.5. Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or maintenance issues promptly.6. Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, expenses, and mileage in compliance with company policies.7. Providing exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and resolving any delivery-related issues that may arise.8. Working collaboratively with the operations team to optimize logistics processes and maximize efficiency.Qualifications:1. Hold a valid and current HGV Class 1 license.2. Possess a Digital Tachograph Card.3. Have a Driver CPC qualification.4. Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver is desirable but not essential.5. Excellent knowledge of UK road networks, traffic regulations, and safety protocols.6. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.7. Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability and punctuality.8. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.9.
