We are currently seeking a Temporary HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client's team in Lutterworth.Responsibilities:- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to transport goods between various destinations within the UK.- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries by following assigned routes and schedules.- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment and secures cargo as necessary.- Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects or issues promptly.- Adhere to all applicable driving laws, regulations, and company policies.- Maintain a professional image while representing our client's company.- Complete all necessary documentation, including delivery records and timesheets.- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to provide exceptional service.Qualifications and Skills:- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 license.- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an HGV driver.- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification is required.- A clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points on your license.- Excellent knowledge of UK road networks.- Ability to work independently and responsibly, managing your time effectively.- Strong communication and customer service skills.- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy goods.Please note that only online applications through our website, workchain.co.uk, will be accepted.
