Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity, apply today at workchain.co.uk!Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle while complying with all road traffic regulations and company policies and procedures.- Deliver goods and materials efficiently and within designated timeframes.- Handle and transport products, ensuring proper loading, unloading, and securing techniques are implemented.- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant documentation as required.- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and clients to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, promoting a safe work environment for yourself and others.- Assist with additional warehouse or driving duties as necessary.Qualifications:- Possession of a valid HGV Class 2 driving license is essential.- Prior experience as an HGV driver is highly desirable but not mandatory.- A good understanding of road traffic regulations and safety standards.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a responsible attitude towards work.- Excellent time management and organizational skills.- A satisfactory level of physical fitness to handle manual lifting and loading duties.Pay Rate: £12.50 per hourTo Apply:Interested candidates should visit workchain.co.uk and complete our online application form.
