Summary
Warehouse Operative/Van Driver
Warehouse operative/van driver required immediately for a world-leading logistics company located in Castle Donington on a temp to perm contract. This particular company have been operating worldwide since 1946 and are currently working with an engineering company providing support in the warehouse and van driving.
The Role
70% of the job is working in the warehouse and 30% of the job is doing van driving
Picking and packing of aircraft products - this is all light work and no heavy handball is involved
Preparing orders that have been picked and loading the van with the orders ready for delivery
Delivering the orders with the use of a van to other vendors or sites to Birmingham
Requirements
Valid full UK driving licence
Adaptable to whatever tasks are being asked to meet business needs
Current DBS check or willing to make application and provide application reference number before starting
5 years checkable work history
Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate good attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with health and safety procedures in a warehouse environment
Hours of work
Monday to Friday
6am to 2pm
2pm - 10pm
Alternating shifts biweekly as above
