Summary
Yard HGV2 Driver
Yard HGV2 driver required immediately for a leading specialist commercial vehicle and trailer rental company located in Ilkeston. This particular company have been operating since 1878 and support around 6000 vehicles with their Nationwide support.
The role
Rearrange the lorries in the two yards
Check the lorries for faults upon returning from hire
Check the lorries for faults before going out on hire
Driving the lorries to petrol stations to fill them up with fuel
Working as part of a team to ensure a smooth running of the operation
Requirements for the role
Valid driving licence with C entitlement
Valid CPC and digital tacho card
Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience
No more than 6 points on licence
Excellent communication skills
Safety boots and hi-vis vest
Ability to work in a team
Hours of work
Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
