To be considered for this role, please apply only at www.workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle, adhering to all relevant regulations and road traffic laws.- Complete daily vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the Transport Manager promptly.- Load and unload goods, ensuring they are securely fastened and in compliance with safety standards.- Deliver goods to various destinations within Nottingham and the surrounding areas, maintaining punctuality at all times.- Provide exceptional customer service, accurately recording delivery information and obtaining necessary signatures when required.- Efficiently plan routes to maximize productivity and minimize time spent on the road.- Follow company procedures in regards to health and safety, ensuring a safe and organized working environment.Qualifications and Skills:- Hold a valid Class 2 HGV license, with no more than 6 points (minor offenses only) and no previous disqualifications.- Possess a valid CPC card and have completed the necessary Driver CPC training.- A minimum of 6 months' recent experience as an HGV Class 2 driver is essential.- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and driving legislation.- Ability to work autonomously and handle deliveries efficiently.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling tasks.Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hourHow to Apply:To apply for this position, please visit www.workchain.co.uk and complete our online application form.
