If you are a reliable, motivated, and customer-oriented driver, we encourage you to apply using the online application form at workchain.co.uk.Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a car/van to deliver goods and services in and around Wakefield, following specified routes and schedules.- Loading and unloading goods ensuring they are securely strapped or packed for transit.- Carrying out basic vehicle maintenance tasks like checking tire pressure, oil levels, and reporting any defects promptly.- Communicating effectively and professionally with customers, providing exceptional customer service at all times.- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of required paperwork, such as delivery notes and vehicle checklists.- Adhering to all relevant road safety regulations and company guidelines.Qualifications:- Valid UK Driving License, with a minimum of 1 year driving experience.- Excellent geographical knowledge of Wakefield and the surrounding areas.- Experience in driving various car/van models, preferably within a delivery or courier service.- Ability to manage time effectively, while prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of accuracy.- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent customer service etiquette.- Physically fit with the capability to handle heavy goods and perform vehicle maintenance tasks.
