Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

Salary: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday - start times between 6am - 8am

Responsibilities:- Safely transport goods and materials to various destinations within designated timeframes- Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness- Comply with all relevant legislation and guidelines regarding road safety and transport regulations- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods- Complete accurate delivery paperwork and maintain a professional and positive attitude when dealing with clients- Take responsibility for the general upkeep and cleanliness of the vehicle- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times, ensuring a high level of professionalism and customer service
Qualifications:- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license- Possess a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification- Have recent and relevant experience in HGV driving- Demonstrate a strong understanding of UK road safety and transport regulations- Maintain a responsible and reliable attitude towards work- Possess excellent communication and customer service skills- Be physically fit and able to handle manual tasks related to the job
