This exciting opportunity is within the driving industry and offers a temporary position.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle during night shifts within the Worksop area.- Responsible for transporting goods, including loading and unloading, to the designated locations promptly and in accordance with the schedule.- Comply with all safety regulations and transportation laws to ensure the security of goods and the well-being of all road users.- Conduct routine checks on the vehicle's mechanical condition, reporting any defects or issues to the appropriate departments.- Maintain accurate records, including delivery paperwork, mileage logs, and daily checks, to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.- Adhere to client-specific instructions, such as delivery schedules, special handling requirements, and secure transportation protocols.- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.Qualifications:- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license with CPC and digital tachograph card.- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 driver in the driving industry.- A comprehensive understanding of driving laws, safety regulations, and vendor-specific requirements.- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and comply with policies.- Flexible with working hours and adaptable to changing schedules.Interested candidates are invited to apply exclusively at workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
