Counterbalance Forklift DriverLocation: TamworthPay Rate: £12.25 per hourAre you an experienced Forklift Driver Counterbalance looking for a new role. Our client based in Wilencote, Tamworth are looking for several FLT drivers to join their team working Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30. This is a mixed role and all applicants must be happy to carry out general warehouse duties as well as picking and packing duties as this role is 25% FLT Driving and 75% other duties.Key Responsibilities:- Operating counterbalance forklifts to transport materials, supplies, and finished products within the warehouse- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles or storage areas using the forklift- Stack and organize products efficiently and safely in designated locations- Inspecting forklifts prior to use to ensure they are in proper working condition- Following all health and safety regulations and procedures while operating the forklift- Performing routine maintenance, such as changing batteries and lubricating equipment, as necessary- Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor- Collaborating with warehouse staff and teammates to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasksQualifications:- Valid counterbalance forklift license and at least 1 year of experience operating counterbalance forklifts- Proven skills and proficiency in safely operating a forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment- Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management principles- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team- Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely and efficiently- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy loads as requiredTo apply for this position, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk and complete the online registraton form.
