We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Driver for our esteemed client in Tuxford. This is a temporary position within the driving industry, offering competitive pay rates starting from £14.00 to £15.00 per hour.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 2 vehicle in line with road traffic regulations and company policies- Perform vehicle checks before and after each shift to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects promptly- Load, unload, and deliver goods to designated locations, adhering to delivery schedules and customer requirements- Provide exceptional customer service, handling queries and concerns professionally- Keep accurate records of deliveries, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times, ensuring the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE)- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, reporting any maintenance or cleaning needs promptly- Collaborate with the operations team, providing feedback and insights to improve service delivery- Flexibility in terms of work schedule, as the role may require some evening and weekend shiftsQualifications and Requirements:- Valid Class 2 driving license with no more than 6 penalty points- CPC and Digi Tachograph Card- Proven experience in a similar driving role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and driving best practices- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a professional and friendly demeanor- Ability to work independently and in a team, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic- Physical fitness, as the role may involve manual handling and frequent lifting of heavy goods- Punctuality and reliability, with a flexible approach to work schedulesIf you are seeking a temporary Class 2 Driver position in Tuxford and meet the above requirements, we would love to hear from you.
