Summary
Job Title: Warehouse Operative in Coalville - Competitive Pay Rate £10.50 per hour
Responsibilities:- Efficiently and accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring items are securely packaged and labeled correctly- Handle receiving, checking, and safely storing incoming stock in the warehouse- Conduct regular stock checks, ensuring inventory accuracy and investigating discrepancies- Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, adhering to health and safety regulations- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including keeping aisles clear and ensuring stock is properly stored- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and priorities- Assist with any additional duties or tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Qualifications:- Proven experience working in a similar warehouse operative role preferred- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure with keen attention to detail- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery, such as forklifts, is desirable- Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual handling tasks, including lifting heavy items- Adequate numeracy and literacy skills to accurately process orders and complete paperwork- Adherence to health and safety regulations and a willingness to actively promote a safe working environment
Pay Rate: £10.50 per hour
