Various start times are available with shifts on offer everyday Monday to Friday!
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle, delivering goods to various locations within Birmingham and surrounding areas.- Ensure timely and accurate completion of delivery routes, while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition and report any issues or defects to the relevant parties.- Provide exceptional customer service, representing both Workchain and our client in a professional manner.- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are securely strapped and appropriately stored within the vehicle.- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including completion of paperwork and obtaining necessary signatures from customers.Qualifications and Requirements:- Hold a valid and up-to-date HGV Class 2 license (Category C) with no more than 6 penalty points.- Possess a valid driver CPC qualification.- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of driving HGV Class 2 vehicles, with a focus on safety and efficiency.- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.- A high level of reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.- Good geographical knowledge of Birmingham and the surrounding areas.To apply for this fantastic temporary opportunity, please visit our website workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
