This is a permanent role with excellent compensation and growth potential.Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle, ensuring compliance with all relevant traffic regulations and company policies- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects or maintenance requirements promptly- Collect and deliver goods in a timely and professional manner, maintaining clear communication with the client and the office team- Accurately complete all relevant paperwork, including delivery notes, time sheets, and any required documentation- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment- Represent our client in a professional manner, maintaining excellent customer service skills and acting as a brand ambassadorQualifications:- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license with no more than 6 points- Driver CPC qualification (DQC card)- Minimum of 6 months recent driving experience as an HGV Class 1 driverAdditional requirements:- Strong knowledge of UK road networks and regulations- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent time management skills with a dedication to meeting deadlines- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Physical fitness and the ability to handle goods as required- Flexibility with working hours, as occasional weekend and night work may be requiredPay rate: £15.00 per hourTo apply for this fantastic opportunity and join a company that values their employees, please visit workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
