Responsibilities:- Safely operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle in accordance with all driving laws and regulations- Delivering goods to supermarkets across Leicester and the surrounding areas- Loading and unloading goods, ensuring they are securely strapped and properly maintained- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, reporting any faults to the relevant department- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous attitude at all times- Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications:- Hold a valid UK HGV Class 2 driving license- Possess a valid CPC and tachograph card- Proven experience as a HGV Class 2 Driver, preferably within the delivery industry- Strong knowledge of driving laws, regulations, and road safety- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively- Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete paperwork accurately- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work varied shifts
