We are currently seeking a skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver for our client's North Ferriby location.Job Summary:Our client, a prominent player in the driving industry, is seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver for a permanent position in North Ferriby. As a key member of the logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to designated locations.Key Responsibilities:1. Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with legal requirements.2. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securing and documentation.3. Plan routes effectively and navigate through traffic to deliver goods in a timely manner.4. Interact professionally and courteously with customers, providing excellent customer service.5. Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.6. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).7. Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the vehicle.Qualifications Required:1. Valid Category C1 driving license (7.5 tonne).2. Full CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.3. Tachograph card and a good understanding of tachograph regulations.4. Previous experience in a similar driving role, preferably in a commercial environment.5. Ability to effectively plan and organize routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency.6. Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.7. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when completing paperwork.8.
