The vacancy is initially for 12 hours per month. If you are currently employed elsewhere, we can arrange hours around any existing commitments you may have, and they can be split into two or three blocks/shifts as you wish. To be discussed further at interview stage.About me:I am a profoundly autistic gentleman in my mid-thirties. I live at home with my family and they are very important to me. I like to get involved with fundraising and local events and I also like to be out and about in the community, attend family events and taking long walks in the countryside and visiting attractions.What support I need:I am non-verbal and require help in all areas of personal care. I need support with everyday tasks at home and in the community doing the things I enjoy and to achieve new goals and achievements.You will support me to meet my healthcare needs, social needs and safety inside and outside my home. It is important that my care team support me to live out an active, enjoyable and purposeful life.A person-centred approach is vital to me and determines what I can achieve on a daily basis.About you and our requirements:It is essential that you have experience with autism, learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge.
