Summary
Job Title: Temporary Car/Van Driver in WarringtonWe're currently seeking a reliable and skilled Car/Van Driver to join our client's team in Warrington. You'll be delivering flooring solutions such as astroturf and decking to customers within the Warrington area.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operating a car/van to deliver goods to designated locations within the Warrington area.- Loading and unloading products, ensuring their safe transport.- Planning delivery routes in the most efficient manner, considering traffic and time constraints.- Maintaining accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery documents.- Providing exceptional customer service by delivering goods with a professional and friendly attitude.- Carrying out routine vehicle checks, reporting any issues or faults to the relevant authorities.- Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.- Assisting with various warehouse tasks, such as organizing and restocking inventory when required.Qualifications:- Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.- Previous experience driving a car/van in a professional capacity is highly desirable.- Excellent knowledge of the local Warrington area, including roads and traffic patterns.- Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently plan delivery schedules.- Outstanding customer service abilities to ensure client satisfaction.- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.- Physically fit, as the role may involve lifting and carrying heavy items.- Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and warehouse staff.Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role ranges from £10.50 to £11.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.To apply for this position:Interested candidates are encouraged to apply exclusively through Workchain's official website at workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
