This is a temporary position within the driving industry, offering competitive pay rates and excellent working conditions.Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods within the designated area- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation regarding vehicle operations- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and maintain driver logs- Adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods- Communicate effectively with the transport team, providing regular updates on delivery progress- Handle deliveries with care, considerate of the nature and fragility of the transported goods- Maintain a professional and positive attitude when representing the company to clients and the publicQualifications and Skills:- Hold a valid and in-date HGV Class 1 license- Possess a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)- Proven experience in driving HGV Class 1 vehicles, preferably within a similar role- Excellent knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation relating to HGV operations- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and members of the public- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptabilityIf you are a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver with a passion for the driving industry, we want to hear from you.
