If you are looking for an opportunity to showcase your driving skills in Birmingham, then this role is perfect for you!Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a company-provided van to deliver goods to multiple locations within the Birmingham area.- Plan and route deliveries based on priority and delivery schedule.- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods, while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.- Collect signatures from customers, ensuring proper documentation and handling of paperwork.- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.- Provide exceptional customer service and address any queries or concerns during deliveries.- Collaborate effectively with the dispatch team, communicating any delays or issues in a timely manner.- Maintain cleanliness and ensure regular maintenance of the delivery vehicle.- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring smooth operations at all times.Qualifications:- A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.- Proven experience as a Van Driver, preferably within a delivery or courier environment.- Excellent knowledge of the Birmingham area, enabling efficient route planning.- Highly responsible and safety-conscious attitude, with a clean driving record.- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.- Ability to work independently, while also being a part of a larger team.- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of loading and unloading goods.- A professional demeanour and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.To apply for this exciting opportunity, please visit workchain.co.uk and complete the online registration form.
