Forklift Driver Counterbalance - Ongoing positionLocation: WidnesIndustry: IndustrialWe're currently recruiting an ongoing Forklift Counterbalance Driver for our client based in Widnes, WA8. You'll be working within the chemical distribution sector, mainly rotating stock and loading & unloading vehicles for delivery.Responsibilities:- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to efficiently move products and materials within the warehouse- Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers using the forklift- Ensure inventory accuracy by properly identifying and organizing products in designated storage areas- Conduct regular checks and maintenance on the forklift, reporting any faults or damages to the supervisor- Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a secure working environment- Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet daily operational targets and ensure smooth workflows- Complete paperwork and update records related to stock movements and forklift operationsRequirements:- Valid counterbalance forklift license is essential- Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Physical fitness to carry out manual tasks and lift heavy objects when required- Good verbal and written communication skills- Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance recordsPay Rate: £11.50 - £12.00 per hourTo be considered for this position, please visit our website workchain.co.uk.
