Looking for a PA to support an adult female with autism and learning disabilities.
The support you will provide will include:
- Personal care
- Meal preparation and assistance
- Accompanying her in leisurely activities e.g. shopping, going to the park or pub
- Domestic care
- Administrating medication
- Providing respite for the lady's family
She can have challenging behaviour centred around separation anxiety from family after leaving care therefore experience of challenging behaviours would be beneficial.
Care provided would be in her family home. 16 hours per week with one overnight (fri-sat/sat-sun) per month.
Position would suit someone experienced and qualifications NVQ level 2/3/4 would be preferable but not essential.
The pay is £11.50p/h and their will be a probationary period which if goes well you will be kept permanently.
